2024-2025 Transfer Station Shift Schedule

Our monthly troop adventures and weekly activities are funded entirely through our can and bottle recycling shed at the Harvard Transfer Station. Our loyal friends in town drop off their redeemable bottles and cans at the shed every Wednesday and Saturday. Our role is to package up the bottles and cans for redemption. Proceeds are stored in our shipping container behind the shed. We empty the shipping container (approximately) every six weeks for delivery to the state redemption center.

Please sign up for 8 shifts of your choosing in 2024. Do you prefer the cool and crisp winter days, or perhaps the warm and sultry summer shifts? Do you have your heart set on St Patrick’s weekend when our scouts discover the most popular Irish beverages in town? Or the rush of the Fourth of July or Labor Day weekend when we make hay in the beverage department? Pick early and pick often – this is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to capture the dates of your dreams! Our eight shifts will fund a full year of magical scouting adventure, including fabulous trips, troop gear, advancement awards, deep-fried turkeys, hot chocolate and snacks, and more.
